CPD Compliance & LERIS
The “15-Unit” Interim Rule
Per PRC Resolution No. 1146 (s. 2019), the following requirements are active while the CPD Law is under review:

Who is Exempt from CPD?
Newly Licensed
Your 1st renewal after passing the board is EXEMPT (0 units required).
OFWs
Professionals working abroad are EXEMPT for the duration of their contract.
Seniors (70+)
Exempted from CPD units for PIC renewal (unless required for specialization).
Further Studies
Units earned in Masters/PhD are considered Full Compliance.
Self-Directed Application (CPDAS)
1. Log in to LERIS/CPDAS
Access the CPDAS Portal using your LERIS credentials.
2. Upload Certificates
Upload your Certificate of Completion, Program of Activities, and Resume of the Speaker.
3. Pay Processing Fee
₱1,000 for local/foreign providers or ₱500 for individual applications (Self-Directed).
4. Wait for Accreditation
The Councils meet monthly to review and grant credit units to your submitted activities.
Did you know?
In 2026, you can renew your PIC even with **zero units** by signing an **Undertaking**. However, you must complete the missing units in your *next* renewal cycle. This is a one-time privilege.
